In the two years since Samsung Austin Semiconductor announced the Taylor project, the road projects happening around the Farm to Market 973 location have also been full steam ahead.
The Southwest Taylor Improvements is part of Williamson County's long-range transportation plan, which is intended to plan for current and future growth in the area. All the projects in the area will improve safety, mobility and quality of life for residents. <

For drivers who live and work around the Samsung Taylor site, you've already noticed that FM 973 at CR 404 has been widened and now includes turn lanes. The project also includes plans for installing a traffic signal at the intersection when traffic warrants.
