To create a better world with our products, Samsung Semiconductor engages local communities through various CSR activities that place people and the environment at its priority. "The Stepping Stone for Hope Program" is one example of how we are actively engaged. Foundation on our employee's participation and donation, the program supports young adults to safely and steadily stand independent. Samsung Semiconductor stands at the forefront of delivering change and fulfilling its given social responsibilities.

    Through such education programs as Samsung Semiconductor Science Academy and the Samsung Semiconductor Advanced Science Academy, Samsung aims to encourage young people to become more interested in science, technology, engineering and math, to enhance problem-solving skills as well as critical thinking skills in science and technology so they can become future leaders.

    Supporting local communities Samsung Semiconductor continues to operate programs that enable employees to help local communities in different ways: donating steps through the Love Walk, donating money via Donation Kiosks, volunteering workplace skills, and donating blood or their blood donor cards to the Blood Donor Card Bank.

    We are creating a sustainable society that puts the environment and people first with local communities to build cleaner and happier local ecosystems.

    Environmentally friendly corporate citizenship Samsung Semiconductor is focused on sustainable activities aimed at improving the everyday lives of those in need as well as helping to build a more sustainable environment. As part of such efforts, Samsung Semiconductor launched the Upcycling Campaign, giving upcycled pencil cases and jump ropes to local children, and offering recycled semiconductor kits used during Samsung Semiconductor Science Academy classes for local children to learn about sustainability as well as semiconductors. Through such programs and activities, Samsung Semiconductor is doing its part to help build a more sustainable community and society.
