Samsung’s global shutter uses front-side deep trench isolation (FDTI) to reduce inter-pixel crosstalk by creating partition walls between pixels. It also implements backside scattering technology (BST), increasing quantum efficiency (QE). This improved light sensitivity means ISOCELL Vizion global shutter sensors can take more accurate photos in more challenging environments.
