The Exynos 2400 boasts two more cores than its predecessor, with ten total cores delivering more adaptable performance and bigger possibilities. Those cores are divided into a tri-cluster of one large, five mid-size, and four small cores, so power and efficiency are better mobilized for each situation that requires different amounts of processing. And the middle CPU is divided even further into high frequency and low frequency clusters, so performance is better optimized to the apps and games you love.
The Exynos 2400 is Samsung’s first processor to adopt a Fan-out Wafer Level Package (FOWLP). It makes more
space for I/O connections, allowing electric signals to move quickly and efficiently. And, the Exynos 2400
has made major improvements in heat management by developing packaging with lower heat resistance, while
enabling a small form factor, so your device stays cooler even during long app use and intense gaming
sessions. FOWLP offers a 23% bump in heat resistance when running on a single-core and an 8% improvement for
multi-core2, opening the door to better performance and cooler gaming sessions.
