Through this unique partnership, Samsung and Twitch Rivals will reinvent the future of mobile gaming and create the next wave of mobile gaming heroes with a year-long program featuring regular, exclusive mobile gaming challenges and events. Events will feature Samsung’s powerful lineup of Galaxy 5G-enabled mobile gaming devices. Samsung and Twitch Rivals are coming together to kick off 2021 with a live, Twitch Rivals broadcast on January 13. Other events are planned shortly thereafter, including a Twitch Rivals Mobile Challenge powered by Samsung Galaxy 5G devices. “Our flagship Galaxy devices help gamers win, with high-resolution screens and advanced processing power to deliver an amazing gaming experience. And, of course 5G can help to deliver the low latency environment gamers want, especially in multi-player environments,” said Jude Buckley, Executive Vice President of Mobile, Samsung Electronics America. “Now, layering in an exciting partnership with Twitch Rivals, we are well-poised to show-off Samsung’s power and performance of our mobile product portfolio.” “We are thrilled to have Samsung join our family of official partners, as the Official Mobile gaming device of Twitch Rivals North America. Samsung’s industry-leading mobile gaming devices will allow gamers to not only stream their favorite Twitch Rivals content, but also fully engage in the unparalleled chat and interactivity that feeds the Twitch community,” said Lou Garate, Global Head of Sponsorship Sales, Twitch. “As livestreaming and esports continue to grow exponentially, we look forward to working with Samsung to help the engaged and dedicated gaming audience access their Twitch Rivals content wherever and whenever they want it.” As part of the year-long partnership, consumers can expect to see Samsung and Twitch Rivals partnership elements including:

Twitch Rivals Mobile Challenges: A series of first-of-its-kind mobile gaming crossover events where Twitch Rivals and Samsung will assemble top streamers and top mobile gaming franchises for marquee entertainment moments for the Twitch audience. • Mobile Mondays brought to you by Samsung: A year-long series of tournament with cash prizing and additional benefits for Galaxy and Twitch users. • Mobile Gaming Heroes: Later this year, Twitch Rivals and Samsung will unveil the next generation of mobile gaming heroes, who will produce original content, host exclusive streams and participate in select events.
