Have you ever wondered why cutting-edge smartphones, such as the Galaxy S23 Ultra, feature ultra-high-resolution image sensors? We wondered: What's the best way to show people how powerful the 200MP image sensors can be? The 200MP image sensors allow you to capture your epic moment with the epic details. To prove this, we decided to hack the least advanced photobooth in town with a 200MP image sensor and take over one of the world's most iconic billboards. Watch the video to see how this happened.

What makes a smartphone camera better? A mobile image sensor that receives and converts light information into the photo as you capture it. And a 200MP image sensor empowers smartphones to capture your epic moment with epic details, in addition to versatility for your daily photography. A 200MP image sensor can deliver a 12MP photo as a default setting, but it also lets users take absolutely massive 200MP photos of approximately 16,000 by 12,000 pixels. Since a photo taken in these dimensions is approx. 16 times bigger than those taken in 12MP, it will have far more details than images taken with other smartphone cameras.

To show exactly what this means, we hacked the least advanced photobooth in town with our highest resolution image sensor for smartphone. To help people to share their epic moment, we took over the epic billboard in London's Piccadilly Circus. Three, two, one, cheese. And it's showtime.

Once-in-a-lifetime moment. When they left the photobooth, they saw the massive photo of themselves displayed on one of the world's most iconic billboards. Notably, when photos are zoomed in on a 45-meter by 18-meter billboard, it shows people the epic details of eyes, hair, and skin in 200MP photos.
