As students head back to school this fall, so too does our University Recruiting team. In September, the team will visit 16 college campuses looking for the best students to join our College Orientation Recruitment Program (CORP) and summer internship program. The team will be recruiting for the following engineering disciplines: Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial and Computer. STEM majors such as Computer Science, Physics and Chemistry, are also encouraged to apply. Upcoming engineering and STEM graduates looking for full-time roles in January, June or July 2024 should consider CORP. CORP is an entry-level role that gives new hires an overview of Samsung Austin Semiconductor and our operations. Samsung Austin Semiconductor is not currently providing sponsorships for student visas. For rising sophomores and juniors, our paid summer internship program is a great way to learn about the semiconductor manufacturing industry and work on real-world projects. This summer, we had more than 100 interns from all over the country! “I am confident when I say that working at Samsung Austin Semiconductor has truly changed my life. There are so many people to thank, so many unforgettable experiences I have had,” 2023 etch engineering intern, Sana Haider, posted on LinkedIn. “felt myself grow over this internship with my first ever professional experience, and you all have raised the bar of expectation very high.” Interested students are encouraged to bring a resume and an interest in the semiconductor industry.
