To highlight the importance of eco-friendly semiconductors, Samsung Semiconductor employees launched the campaign,
“People who save the Earth, Eco-conscious chips that save the Earth.”

It was designed to show how employees at Samsung Semiconductor are spearheading efforts to minimize our impact on the environment: by optimizing every step of the semiconductor life cycle from product design and production to disposal.

A letter has arrived from the year 2039. It’s from the children of Samsung Semiconductor employees living in the future.

The “Letter from 2039” campaign imagined the employees’
children, grown-ups in their 20s, appreciating the effort their
parents had put into developing Eco-conscious chips. The message became an inspiration for those of us working hard today to help save the Earth.
