To highlight the importance of eco-friendly semiconductors, Samsung Semiconductor employees launched the campaign,
“People who save the Earth, Green chips that save the Earth.”

It was designed to show how employees at Samsung Semiconductor are spearheading efforts to minimize our impact on the environment: by optimizing every step of the semiconductor life cycle from product design and production to disposal.

A letter has arrived from the year 2039. It’s from the children of Samsung Semiconductor employees living in the future.

The “Letter from 2039” campaign imagined the employees’
children, grown-ups in their 20s, appreciating the effort their
parents had put into developing green chips. The message became an inspiration for those of us working hard today to help save the Earth.
