Love Run was a Samsung Semiconductor festival held every spring and fall. But in 2020 as part of our efforts to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and practice social distancing, we turned Love Run into Love Walk.

Love Run was a campaign to run around the Samsung Nano City Campus as a group to stay in shape and to donate to a good cause. As part of our vision “Together for Tomorrow! Enabling People,” this social commitment activity soon became a Samsung Semiconductor tradition. It started in 1998, and by the time the event was turned into the contactless Love Walk in 2020, there were 1 million people participating.

“I had difficulty in moving to and from our accommodations when I was at away matches, but now I can move freely - thanks to my new wheelchair.” “I had difficulty in moving to and from our accommodations when I was at away matches, but now I can move freely - thanks to my new wheelchair.” “I had difficulty in moving to and from our accommodations when I was at away matches, but now I can move freely - thanks to my new wheelchair.”
- Yoo Dosik, Mugungwha Electronics

When Dosik is not working at Mugungwha Electronics, he’s the company basketball player-coach. The manual wheelchair he had to rely on before, made it difficult to play since he had to use his arms to control the wheelchair. With his new motorized wheelchair, he’s now able to play the game freely on the court.

But with the newly donated motorized wheelchair, I can move much more freely and enjoy being at college.” “I had a lot of difficulties using the manual wheelchair. - Lee Dahye, college student

When she was 7 years old, Dahye was diagnosed with Myotonic Dystrophy. It wasn’t easy for her to keep her balance and with her manual wheelchair, she had to have someone push her around. With the custom motorized wheelchair, she’s now able to move around by herself.

“There’s a saying that if you want to go far, you need to go together. I think it’s more important to walk together even if that slows us down a little. So, let’s walk together.” “There’s a saying that if you want to go far, you need to go together. I think it’s more important to walk together even if that slows us down a little. “I hope that our donations will help people realize that they’re not walking alone in a cold world, that there are people walking with them and helping them go forward.” “I hope that our donations will help people realize that they’re not walking alone in a cold world, that there are people walking with them and helping them go forward.” “I hope that our donations will help people realize that they’re not walking alone in a cold world, that there are people walking with them and helping them go forward.”
