Samsung Austin Semiconductor to Visit 7 Campuses for 2026 Fall Season

As students head back to school, Samsung Austin Semiconductor’s University Recruiting team is also getting supplies ready for their 2026 campus fall tour which kicks off in September

The team will visit seven campuses, six of which are in Texas. At these fairs, the team will be looking for the next group of emerging engineers to join our 2027 summer internship program and our entry-level Samsung Emerging Engineer Development (formerly known as College Orientation Recruitment Program) program.

The team will recruit for the following engineering disciplines: Chemical, Civil, Construction, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, Industrial Hygiene, Mechanical and Safety. STEM majors, such as Computer Science, Physics and Chemistry, are also encouraged to apply.

The paid summer internship program is a great way for students to learn about the advanced semiconductor manufacturing industry and work on real-world projects while getting the opportunity to connect with fellow students. This summer, we had 114 college interns from 21 different schools.

The Samsung Emerging Engineer Development program is a multi-week, comprehensive program that offers new graduates an overview of the company’s processes and operations, as well as a base knowledge of semiconductor fabrication and manufacturing principles.
