Samsung Austin Semiconductor Organizes Cleanup Along CR 401 in Taylor

In early June, Samsung Austin Semiconductor employees took to County Road 401 in Taylor for a roadside cleanup next to our 1,200-acre campus. In just one hour, two dozen employees collected 280 pounds of litter and recyclables.

With an increasing number of employees working at the Taylor campus, we plan to organize these cleanups quarterly.

Thank you to Immanuel Lutheran Church, neighbors to our north, for their help coordinating cleanup parking for our employees.

Volunteer efforts in Taylor

While the CR 401 cleanup is a new initiative we’re implementing, we have been actively involved in other efforts to give back to the Taylor community.

During the holiday season, employees adopt families from the Boys & Girls Club of East Williamson County.

In the summer, our Taylor Independent School District interns beautify Murphy Park in addition to volunteering at the Shepherd’s Heart Food Bank or the Boys & Girls Clubs of East Williamson County.
