The Exynos 7884 is designed to offer crafted performance and features for the brilliant budget mobile devices. The 64-bit octa-core processor, built on 14nm FinFET process, delivers optimal performance for every mobile usage from always-on tasks to performance intensive ones. The Exynos 7884 enables the user to capture, make and share contents with great ease thanks to its image signal processor (ISP) for dual-camera set-up, multi-format codec (MFC) for Full HD video recording and playback, and integrated LTE modem for fast and reliable cellular connectivity.

Processing Power

Big performance for all
The Exynos 7884 features 64-bit octa-core CPU consisted of dual 1.6GHz Cortex-A73 cores for big performance and six 1.35GHz Cortex-A53 cores for always-on tasks. With powerful Cortex-A73, generally used in high-end mobile processors, the Exynos 7884 doubles single and multi-core performance of its predecessor realizing faster app launching, game loading, and seamless multi-tasking.

Camera

Powers dual-camera
For dual-camera support that enables ultra-wide angle, telephoto and bokeh, the Exynos 7884’s improved image signal processor (ISP) supports up to 21.7MP resolution with dual 16MP camera set-up. The advanced ISP delivers vivid and clear photo quality with diverse features such as PDAF(Phase Detection Auto Focus) for faster and accurate focus, and Smart WDR for greater dynamic range. In addition to ISP, The Exynos 7884 features a multi-format codec (MFC) that supports full HD video recording and playback at 60fps with HEVC(H.265) and H.264.

Game and display

Level up fast
The Exynos 7884 features a powerful GPU for enjoyable 3D gaming experience. The Exynos 7884 with the Mali-G71 GPU supports the latest graphics API including Vulkan and offers up to 3 times more enhanced graphics performance when compared to its predecessor. The Exynos 7884 also features a display sub-system for full HD+ display making 3D gameplay highly immersive even on the trending punch-hole display.

The Exynos 7884 enables fast and reliable communication with an integrated LTE modem and diverse connectivity. With the LTE modem that supports Category 12 with 3CA, the Exynos 7884 offers downlink and uplink speed of up to 600Mbps and 150Mbps respectively.1 The Exynos 7884 also features diverse connectivity including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FM radio, along with 4-mode GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) for location based services.
