Keep Austin Beautiful honors Samsung Austin Semiconductor with Corporate Sponsor Award

For more than 10 years, Samsung Austin Semiconductor has supported Keep Austin Beautiful Day. As a presenting sponsor of Keep Austin Beautiful Day, we are proud to call Austin our home and be a steward of its environment. Every April, Keep Austin Beautiful mobilizes hundreds of volunteers for an incredible day of community service throughout the Austin area in honor of Earth Month and Earth Day. During this year’s Keep Austin Beautiful Day, dozens of our employees helped pick up trash around our northeast Austin campus. In less than three hours, we collected 1,618 pounds of trash, 407 of which were recyclables. From tires to electronics, our team filled bags upon bags of litter.

For our continued partnership, Keep Austin Beautiful awarded us with a Corporate Sponsor Award and we presented them with a donation of $25,000. Thank you to all our volunteers and employees who continue to be engaged and help make our community clean and beautiful.
