Celebrating educators during Teacher Appreciation Week

Teachers are a special kind of people. They play a critical role in educating and shaping our children. From virtual learning to in-person, the past few years have ushered in a new way of teaching and learning for teachers and students alike. To show our appreciation, Samsung Austin Semiconductor employees penned hundreds of 'thank you' notes to area educators. Several employees even incorporated fun drawings in their cards.
One employee wrote, "Being a teacher means having a lot of patience." Truer words have never been written. During Teacher Appreciation Week (first full week of May), Samsung Austin Semiconductor's Director of Communications and Community Affairs, Michele Glaze, delivered the cards to Manor Independent School District's Pioneer Crossing Elementary and Taylor Independent School District's Taylor High School. Samsung Austin Semiconductor also treated the teachers to a pizza lunch. Thank you to all the educators for your commitment and dedication to ensuring children have the tools they need to succeed!
