Dual Pixel technology accelerates the speed and boosts the precision of ISOCELL GN1’s autofocus capabilities, making it simpler for users to get clear and crisp pictures. Each pixel in the 50MP image sensor carries two photodiodes, allowing the component to execute ultra-fast autofocus and capture moving objects no matter where they are in the frame. Also, ISOCELL GN1 takes light information from each photodiode to produce a 100MP resolution photograph by a software algorithm.

Capture exactly what you see in any lighting conditions with the ISOCELL GN1. The sensor comes with 1.2μm-sized pixels that are equipped with outstanding light sensitivity and produce true-to-life photographs. ISOCELL GN1 maximizes the benefits of large pixels by using Tetrapixel technology,
which combines four neighboring pixels into one 2.4μm-sized pixel and quadruples the light sensitivity.
The bigger pixels allow the sensor to capture blur-free images even in dim-lit situations.

Right sensitivity makes better photo quality. The ISOCELL GN1 features Smart-ISO technology to optimize gain adjustments resulting in better dynamic range and less noise. Native-ISO determines how sensitive image sensor is to light, with high native-ISO being better suited to low-lit settings and low native-ISO working better in bright environments. The Smart-ISO technology allows the sensor to automatically shoot with low native-ISO in bright settings, while intelligently switching to high native-ISO in darker environments so that the photo can show optimal dynamic range for each situation with less noise.

Real-time HDR

Real-time HDR empowers the ISOCELL GN1 to quickly produce stunning images and videos with high dynamic range. In challenging lighting environments, the technology allows the sensor to preview and capture scenes in multiple exposures simultaneously and generate HDR images in real-time. By emulating how the human eye sees, real-time HDR’s ability to optimize exposure for different areas of the frame makes it possible for the sensor to produce vivid images and videos with exceptional detail and contrast.
