Support of training to promote a culture of fair trade

Samsung Semiconductor regards integrity management to be a core value that all Samsung employees must share and uphold. The foremost principles of integrity management are ethical behavior and compliance with the law. Accordingly, we place a lot of emphasis on fair trade with our partners. To make the semiconductor ecosystem healthy through shared growth with partners, fair trade is a culture that must be maintained as a necessity, not an option. We are conducting ethics management training and support for both partner companies and our employees to firmly establish a culture of fair trade not only among our 1st-tier partners but also among 2nd and 3rd-tier partners.

  • The 'Compliance Professional Qualification Course' was established in 2023 with the goal of helping suppliers build an autonomous compliance system by strengthening the expertise of compliance officers.

    ※ The Certified Compliance Professional qualification is a private certification that is mutually recognized and accepted among countries that are members of the International Federation of Compliance Associations (IFCA) and is used as a management evaluation measure for business partners in international commerce.
    ※This course is supported by Samsung Electronics as a win-win cooperation program, and in 2023, a total of 15 participating companies obtained the qualification.
    In addition, a celebration ceremony was held where the CEO of each partner company awarded the certificates and congratulated the participants for their hard work.

  • The Fair Trade Professional Course is a course to foster fair trade compliance experts with the goal of 'supporting the establishment of an autonomous compliance system for partners' by strengthening the expertise of compliance officers of partners.
