Since the formation of Earth, the amount of water on Earth has neither increased nor decreased.
Only the way it exists on Earth varies, such as in the seas, the rivers, vapors in the atmosphere, and living beings.
The bottles of varying shapes in the work express the “endlessly circulating water” that exists in all living beings on Earth.

Jungki Beak interprets water based on the code of life circulation and recovery under the light of the museology of the West and natural philosophy of the East, and thereby expresses water through the taxonomy of mammals as if exhibits at a natural history museum.

RohwaJeong’s Still Life conveys an extensive meaning. It holds the meaning of “still life, beyond life and still living, and one that is watching it.”

This is a video work capturing an insect screen with “Still Life” embroidered on it. The background of the video is “Sairo” in Samsung Electronics Hwaseong Campus. In the video, nature keeps changing according to the movements of the wind, rain, and light, and the threads used in the embroidery are shaken in the wind.
Offering an in-depth insight into life, this work invites us to think about the relationships of humans, nature, and the environment in various ways.

OUR PLANET is a space that tells stories about how life, environment, humans, and technologies must prepare for and face the future. This is where a new ecosystem has been created by adding the language of art to light, water, and wind, the elements of nature.

Our Labour designed the OUR PLANET platform as an air structure, and added the artificially created elements of natural environment to the structure by using various devices. Watching how the plants from different places form a new ecosystem together, the audience is invited to imagine the future we will face together.
