At Samsung Austin Research and Development Center (SARC) and Advanced Computing Lab (ACL), we are building a center of excellence for Intellectual Property (IP) that is applied to high-performance computing devices (mobile, automotive, and other custom market segments) consumed by millions of people around the world.

Memory Labs

As businesses broadly adopt modern digital infrastructure, there is increasing demand on datacenters for new technologies and capabilities. The various entities within Memory Labs work closely with industry and academia to research, develop and commercialize state-of-the-art memory technologies to meet these demands.

Develop display IP to enhance visual quality and intelligent algorithms to control product quality while driving display industry standards.

Institute of Technology

SAIT, Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology is Samsung Group’s R&D hub, established as the incubator for cutting-edge technologies under the founding philosophy of “boundless search for breakthroughs” and guided by the vision of “changing the world through creative research.”

Semiconductor R&D Center

Samsung Research is the advanced R&D hub of Samsung Electronics to lead future technologies creating new values through ceaseless innovation and intelligence.

Innovation Center

Innovation Center is the CIO organization that leads the Digital Transformation of Device Solutions division of Samsung Electronics Inc. by creating the strategy of and executing the software and IT governance, and advances the IT and Data services. Its mission includes the development of the simulation solutions for the semiconductor defect analysis and process technology development, and the development of the AI solutions for fabrication issues.

System LSI Labs

The labs that make up the America’s System LSI R&D Center are focused on the research, development and commercialization of GPU IP development, cellular modem, multimedia, WiFi, RFIC, location/GNSS and high-speed interface technologies, which are critical to the System LSI business.
