Color Gamut

Color Gamut A numerical value expressing a display’s ability to express colors. Color gamut is based on the color coordinates created by the American National Television System Committee (NTSC) as the standard for color TVs in 1953. The color area expressed by a display product against the NTSC’s standard color expression area is compared as a coverage ratio, and is conveyed in a percentage (%).
