(“Samsung”) knows how important privacy is to its customers and their employees and partners, and we strive to be clear about how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information. Through the Business Services, we may collect personal information about your online activities on websites and connected devices over time and across third-party websites, devices, apps and other online features and services. We may use third-party analytics services on the Business Services, such as those of Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics. The service providers that administer these analytics services help us to analyze your use of the Business Services and improve the Business Services. The information we obtain may be disclosed to or collected directly by these providers and other relevant third parties who use the information, for example, to evaluate use of the Business Services, help administer the Business Services and diagnose technical issues. To whom do we disclose your information?
We will disclose your information internally within our business and the following entities, but only for the above purposes.
• Samsung affiliates;
• third parties when necessary to provide you with requested products and services. For example, we may disclose your payment data to financial institutions as appropriate to process transactions that you have requested;
• companies that provide services for or on behalf of us, such as companies that help us with the billing process;
• other parties: (i) to comply with the law or respond to compulsory legal process (such as a search warrant or other court order); (ii) to verify or enforce compliance with the policies governing our Business Services; (iii) to protect the rights, property, or safety of Samsung, or any of our respective affiliates, business partners, or customers; (iv) as part of a merger or transfer, or in the event of a bankruptcy;

What do we do to keep your information secure?
We have put in place reasonable physical and technical measures designed to safeguard the information we collect in connection with the Business Services.
Where do we transfer your information?
Your use or participation in the Business Services may involve transfer, storage and processing of your information outside of your country of residence, consistent with this policy. Please note that the data protection and other laws of countries to which your information may be transferred might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. We will take appropriate measures, in compliance with applicable law, which are designed to ensure that your personal information remains protected.
What are your rights?
Under the laws of some jurisdictions, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to request details about the information we collect about you, delete information collected about you, and to correct inaccuracies in that information. In compliance with applicable law, we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required by local law.
If you request deletion of personal information, you may not be able to access or use the Business Services, and residual personal information may continue to reside in Samsung's records and archives for some time, but Samsung will not use that information for commercial purposes. Where permitted under applicable law, Samsung reserves the right to keep your personal information, or a relevant part of it, if Samsung has suspended, limited, or terminated your access to the Business Services for violating the Samsung Terms of Use, when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Samsung, or any of our respective affiliates, business partners, employees or customers.

The Business Services may offer choices related to the collection, deletion and sharing of certain information and communications about products, services and promotions. How long do we keep your information?
We take reasonable steps designed to ensure that we retain information about you only for so long as is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, as described in this Samsung Semiconductor Privacy Policy or any other notice provided at the time of collection, taking into account statutes of limitation and records retention requirements under applicable law, as well as our records retention requirements and policies.
Cookies, Beacons and Similar Technologies
We, as well as certain third parties that provide content, advertising, or other functionality on our Business Services, may use cookies, beacons, and other technologies in certain areas of our Business Services.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that store information on your device. They enable the entity that put the cookie on your device to recognize you across different websites, services, devices, and/or browsing sessions. Cookies serve many useful purposes. For example:
• Cookies can remember your sign-in credentials so you don’t have to enter those credentials each time you log on to a service.
• Cookies help us and third parties understand which parts of our Business Services are the most popular because they help us to see which pages and features visitors are accessing and how much time they are spending on the pages. Other Local Storage

Beacons

Personal Data We Collect Directly From You
• We collect personal data that you provide to us when you use our services, such as by utilizing SAS services or productions, we will collect information by which you may be personally identified, such as name, business address, business e-email address, business telephone number, or other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline. We will also collect records and copies of your correspondence, if you contact us.
• If you engage with SAS for marketing purposes, such as by expressing interest in SAS services or products by participating in a promotion, or attending a SAS or related marketing event, we will collect the information you submit to us (including name, email address, phone number, organization and job title) and the SAS services or products that interest you. SAS may also collect your email if you subscribe to our blog, if any, for blog update notifications. You can unsubscribe from the blog, if any, at any time.
Personal Data Collected Indirectly From You
• We may also collect other electronic data from your use of our Sites automatically. This data may include your IP address, date/time stamp, data about your interaction with our Sites, and data collected from our use of cookies and similar tracking tools. SAS does not intend to collect any directly identifiable personal data from the website. Our website serves as an information gateway to provide you with the information about SAS as a company and its services and products offered. Personal Data We Collect From Third Parties
• We may obtain personal data about you from our affiliates or business partners through your use of our services. For example, we may receive information about you from publicly and commercially available sources (as permitted by law), which we may combine with other information we receive from or about you. We also may receive information about you from third-party social networking services when you choose to connect with those services.
Information about your use of the Services
In addition to the information you provide, we may collect information about your use of our services through software on your device and other means. For example, we may collect:

– When you access our
website and blog, we may collect your IP address, your operating system, your browser ID, and other
information about your system and connection. If you are using mobile devices, we may also collect
information about the cellular network associated with your mobile device, your mobile device’s operating
system or platform, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s name and unique device ID, and
information about the features of our Mobile App (i.e. blog) that you accessed.
• Log information
– We may collect the time
and duration of your use of the services, search query terms you enter through the services, any information
stored in cookies that we have set on your device, and device event information such as system activity,
error reports, and hardware settings. We may also access metadata and other information associated with
files that you upload onto our blog site.
• Usage data
– We may collect usage data
about you whenever you interact with our services, which may include the dates and times you access the
services and your browsing activities (such as what portions of the services you used). We also collect
information regarding the performance of the services, including metrics related to the deliverability of
emails and other communications you send through the services. If you are using the Mobile App, if any, of
our blog, if any, we may collect information about how often you use the Mobile App and other performance

Functionality Cookie:

Access to Specific Information and Data Portability Rights
You may have the right to request that SSI disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal data over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Rights), we will disclose to you:
• The categories of personal information we collected about you.
• The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.
• Our business or commercial purpose for collecting that personal information.
• The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.
• The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you (also called a data portability request).

Deletion Request Rights
You have the right to request that SSI delete any of your personal data that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Rights), we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal data from our records, unless an exception applies. If an exception applies, we will advise you of the applicable exception and the reason for denying your request.
Correction Request Rights
You have the right to request that SSI correct any inaccurate personal information we may hold about you. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request (see Exercising Rights), we will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct inaccurate personal information, taking into the account the nature of the personal information and the purpose for our processing.

SAS also uses a third party recruiting firm to manage our career page on the website. All the data that you
submit through the applicant web-form is directly collected by the third party recruiting firm on behalf of
SAS.
