Samsung has achieved the perfect balance between performance and power efficiency with Exynos 9810. It is built to achieve optimal efficiency to improve battery life between charges. Low power microarchitecture design is one of the key innovations which makes the custom CPU less power-hungry. Featuring aggressive clock gating, it can switch off circuits to reduce power dissipation and improve energy conservation. In addition, the microarchitecture is also crafted to minimize unnecessary switching and data transfer. The 2nd generation 10nm FinFET process is another technological breakthrough which allows Exynos 9810 to consume less energy without compromising its performance. This cutting-edge development reduces power consumption by up to 15% compared to the 1st generation 10nm process technology.
But speed and power efficiency are not all that Exynos 9810 offers. As smartphones and mobile devices are increasingly tasked to solve complex problems, processors are expected to be more capable than ever before. Exynos 9810 is designed to meet demands for new mobile experiences. Equipped with neural network-based deep learning software, which enables the processor to identify objects, the Exynos 9810 can accurately recognize and categorize items and faces in photos. Through depth sensing, the technology is also capable of scanning faces in 3D for hybrid face detection.
